Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva is pleased to announce the promotion of Miguel de Almada, Margarida Olazabal Cabral, Pedro Costa Gonçalves and Helena Tapp Barroso to partners of the firm as a result of their professional and personal capabilities and performance.
 
With these promotions the number of partners of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva has risen to 33 out of a group of 162 lawyers.
 

Miguel de Almada has extensive dispute resolution experience, having focused his practice mainly in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration (domestic and international) together with intervention in criminal litigation cases.
 
Margarida Olazabal Cabral concentrates her activity in several areas of administrative law, mainly in areas related to  public contracts. She has experience in pre-contractual matters (public tenders), as well as with the execution of public contracts on behalf of public entities and private companies. In recent years a major part of her activity has been dedicated to public private partnerships.
 
Pedro Costa Gonçalves, a member of the administrative and public procurement team, is a Lecturer at the Coimbra University Law School and has several books and articles published in this area. He is also the author of studies in the areas of general administrative law, public contracting and public regulation in several sectors.
 
Helena Tapp Barroso provides regular legal counseling in the areas of commercial, civil, labour and corporate law. She regularly assists clients in the structuring of transactions, contract negotiations and dispute regulation in different business areas (particularly, TMTs including data protection, the automobile industry, the pharmaceutical industry, distribution, insurance and financial activities). She is also involved in assisting in the set-up and launching of business operations in the telecom market.
