Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva’ lawyers, PostGraduate lecturers at the “XII Postgraduate Course on Labour Law”

Luís Miguel Monteiro, Rui Patrício, Helena Tapp Barroso and Paula Ponces Camanho are PostGraduate lecturers on the “XII Postgraduate Course on Labour Law”, organized by the Labour Law Institute from the University of Lisbon Law School. The postgraduate course is coordinated by Professor Pedro Romano Martinez and will take place from October 2010 to June 2011.

Luís Miguel Monteiro coordinates the labour and social security team. He has participated in several corporate restructuring processes and collective dismissal proceedings, providing advice in all areas of employment and social security law. He acts as legal counsel for several companies on labour and social security litigation. Specialist Lawyer in Labour Law, title awarded by the Portuguese Bar Association in 2004.

Rui Patrício, coordinator of one of the litigation and arbitration teams, is one of the firm’s most experienced lawyers in the area of litigation, having developed in recent years the area of criminal and misdemeanours litigation, as well as having extensive activity in the area of civil litigation and arbitration. He currently teaches at the Nova University Law School and participates in seminars and conferences and lectures predominantly on criminal and misdemeanour legal themes in post-graduate courses.

Helena Tapp Barroso provides regular legal counselling in the areas of commercial, civil, labour and corporate law, regularly assisting clients in the structuring of transactions, contract negotiations and dispute regulation in different business areas, particularly, tmt’s including data protection, automobile industry, pharmaceutical industry, distribution, insurance and financial activities). She also develops relevant activity in labour, civil and commercial litigation. She is often invited to participate in seminars, conferences, and postgraduate courses within the above referred subject areas.

Paula Ponces Camanho joined the firm in 2006. She is a member of the labour and social security team. She has been an Assistant Professor at the Portuguese Catholic University Law School since 1990. Also is a speaker at congresses, seminars and postgraduations.
