Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva is the host of Lex Mundi’s first meeting in Portugal

From 27 February to 1 March 2014 in Lisbon Lex Mundi, the world’s leading association of independent law firms, is organising the“2014 Lex Mundi Europe / Middle East / Africa Regional Conference” with more than 100 participants from several members.

Since 2001 Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva has been the exclusive Lex Mundi member firm for Portugal.

During the three days of the conference, there will be several thematic meetings to analyse and discuss common legal systems of the various participants’ countries, as well as plenary sessions to debate matters such as legal service innovation, project management good practice, and the increase of referees among law firms.

On 28 February there will be a panel with the presence of the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs, Dr. Paulo Núncio, who will be addressing the impact of the economic crisis on the European economy, followed by a video message from the President of the European Commission, Dr. Durão Barroso, on the same subject.
