Catarina Monteiro Pires joined the firm in 2004. She is a member of the litigation and arbitration team.
Having extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters, particularly in acquisitions, international contracts within the energy sector and strategic business combination transactions, she now focuses her activity on different areas of civil and commercial law and concentrates her practice on advising national and international clients on litigation and pre-litigation matters.
She participated in a secondment with the German Law Firm Hengeler Mueller (Düsseldorf, 2009).
Catarina Monteiro Pires is an invited assistant teacher at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon (Contract Law/Law of Obligations/Corporate and Commercial Law). She was a lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra (2001-2003, Public Finance and Economy).
