João Matos Viana joined the firm in 2001. He is a member of the litigation and arbitration team.
Mr. Matos Viana started his activity in the firm in the area of criminal law particularly focusing on misdemeanours involving competition, pharmaceutical law, publicity law and real estate.
Currently, he practises in the area of general litigation, focusing specifically on criminal and misdemeanours offences. Occasionally, he collaborates in competition, administrative and corporate matters.
He is an Assistant Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon where he teaches penal law.
