João Matos Viana joined the firm in 2001. He is currently working with the litigation and arbitration team.
João started his activity in the firm in the area of criminal law particularly focusing on misdemeanours involving competition, pharmaceutical law, publicity law and real estate.
Currently, he is practicing in the area of general litigation, focusing specifically on criminal and misdemeanours offences. Occasionally, he collaborates in competition, administrative and corporate matters.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon Law School where he teaches penal law.
