Manuel Freitas Pita joined the firm in 2000. He is currently working with the tax team.
Manuel is the resident lawyer in charge of the firm’s Madeira office and of the company “MLGT Madeira – Management & Investment, S.A.”.
His main areas of practice include corporate and financial law, particularly mergers and acquisitions, and international agreements, and securities law.
Manuel has also developed an expertise in the incorporation and management of companies licensed to operate in the IBC of Madeira, as well as providing legal assistance to them.
From January to December 2005 Manuel worked for a European Union’s financing institution in Luxembourg.
