António Pedro Braga joined the firm in 2008. He is a member of the tax team. He also collaborates with the Africa Team - an internal structure that guarantees, on a permanent basis, and in close cooperation with the member firms of the MLGTS Legal Circle, personalised day-to-day assistance to clients on matters that involve or are related to the jurisdictions of the African Portuguese speaking countries – in which he regularly assists clients in the tax area.
For almost a decade now, he has been very active in all areas of tax law, with a special focus on national and international corporate taxation of finance, industrial and commercial companies, including other subjects such as VAT, real estate taxation and tax litigation as well. He also has training in the accounting area, having been admitted to the Statutory Auditors Association in 2003.
Between 2004 and 2008 he worked as an associate lawyer in two of the largest iberian law firms (GPCB/Cuatrecasas and Garrigues). Mr. Braga began his professional career in 1998 at Arthur Andersen and was promoted to Manager of the Porto Tax Department of Deloitte & Touche (after the merger with Andersen) in 2003.
