Tomás Castro Tavares joined the firm in 2006. He is currently working with the tax team.
Tomás has worked intensively in the area of tax law. His expertise includes all taxes (income tax; vat, property transfer tax, excise duties, stamp tax, withholding taxes), in both litigation (administrative or judicial), and in an advisory capacity.
Between 1993 and 1995, Tomás worked with the M&A department at BPI Bank. From 1993 to 2005 he practised law at Osório de Castro, Verde Pinho, Vieira Peres, Lobo Xavier e Associados – Sociedade de Advogados.
He has also been involved in several working sessions with the Management School of Oporto.
