José Azevedo Moreira joined the firm in 2009.
He is a member of the administrative and public procurement team, as well as of the firm’s German Desk.
José concentrates his activity in several areas of administrative law, mainly in areas related with public contracts.
He regularly advises awarding entities or tenderers on matters related to public procurement procedures, as well as on the performance of public contracts.
In addition, he acts as legal counsel for several public and private entities before administrative courts.
José also acts in the area of public law arbitrations, including as arbitral secretary. He is also listed as an arbitrator at the CAAD (Centro de Arbitragem Administrativa), namely for disputes concerning public contracts.
Since 2012, José is a member of the Public Procurement Group of CEDIPRE (Center for Studies in Public Law and Regulation, Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra).

Law Degree (Law Faculty of Nova University of Lisbon, 2007). LL.M. in European Community Law (Europa-Institut Saarland University, 2009), as a DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) fellowship holder.
