Dzhamil Oda joined the firm in February 2011. He is a member of the European law and Competition team. He is also a member of Team Genesis and Sports Law team.
Previously, Dzhamil worked with the litigation and arbitration team and also with the corporate and commercial and capital markets teams.
In August 2010, he attended a Summer Trainee program with the capital markets and debt department of Linklaters LLP (London) and with the litigation department of Linklaters LLP (Lisbon).
In the context of European law and Competition practice, among other matters, Dzhamil participated in merger control procedures and acquired experience in the assessment of companies’ internal compliance procedures related to antitrust conducts. Dzhamil Oda has also acquired experience in issues related to energetic sector, in particular concerning regulatory matters.
In terms of Sports Law practice, he has participated in players’ transfers, advised in matters related to UEFA Financial Fair Play and acted in litigation before international sports bodies (in particular, FIFA) and before the Court of Arbitration for Sports, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Law Degree (Law faculty of Nova University of Lisbon, 2011). LL.M in International Business Law at Católica Global School of Law (2015). Currently, Dzhamil Oda is preparing his Master Dissertation in the context of LL.M in International Business Law at Católica Global School of Law.
