Rita Castro joined the firm in 2000. She is a member of the corporate and commercial team.
Rita Castro has a general commercial and corporate law practice and has been involved in several transactions of company restructuring, in particular in mergers and acquisitions of companies and structuring of international partnerships. A substantial part of her work involves cross-border transactions.
She also provides general legal advice to companies mainly in the areas of corporate and commercial law and she is also highly experienced is registry and notary practice.
Rita Castro is a member of Africa Team, an internal structure that guarantees, on a permanent basis, and in close cooperation with the member firms of the MLGTS Legal Circle, personalised day-to-day assistance to clients on matters that involve or are related to the jurisdictions of the African Portuguese speaking countries. Within such context, Rita had also involvement in several cross-border M&A transactions and international partnerships in African Portuguese speaking countries in diversified areas of economic activity.
