Agostinho Cardoso Guedes joined the firm in 2006. He is a member of the corporate and commercial team.
Mr. Cardoso Guedes has been involved in the negotiation of agreements relating to industrial equipment procurement, civil construction and project finance in the areas of energy and telecommunications.
Mr. Cardoso Guedes is the Dean of the Oporto Law Faculty of the Portuguese Catholic University. He was also a Lecturer at the Oporto Entrepreneur Institute (Portuguese Entrepreneur Association) from 1993 to 2000 and at the Oporto Management School from 2000 to 2002.
He is a member of the Commercial Arbitration Center (Oporto Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and a former president of the National Evaluation Committee of the Portuguese Bar Association (2006).
From 1989 to 2005 he practised law at Osório de Castro, Verde Pinho, Vieira Peres, Lobo Xavier e Associados – Sociedade de Advogados.
