Bruno Santiago became a partner in 2015. He re-joined the firm in 2005, after collaborating with the firm between 2000 and 2002. He is a member of the tax team.
Bruno is a Lawyer Specialist in Tax Law that practices in domestic and international taxation, both in consulting and in dispute resolution.
He coordinates dedicated teams in advising clients in cross-border transactions and transfer pricing taking advantage of his knowledge of Angolan and Mozambican taxation, product of his collaboration with the Africa Team - an internal structure that guarantees, on a permanent basis, and in close cooperation with the member firms of the MLGTS Legal Circle, personalised day-to-day assistance to clients on those jurisdictions.
He has also a strong activity in tax disputes and arbitration covering income taxes, VAT, property taxes as well as stamp duty on financial operations, in administrative, judicial and penalties proceedings.
Bruno represents clients from various sectors – financial services, oil and gas, energy, real estate and construction, media and advertising, pharmaceuticals, and private clients.
