Overview

CAREERS

The firm is looking for fully qualified professionals who are interested in working as part of a dynamic team and in synergy with the firm’s culture and values.
We offer a solid career with permanent vocational training and excellent opportunities for advancement.

Interested applicants should contact the Careers department and request further information on our current and /  or future vacancies.

Lawyers

From time to time we expand our team of lawyers in response to the requirements and needs of given practice areas. The process of selecting a lawyer with a suitable profile, in terms of the seniority, technical skills and compatibility with the culture and values of the firm, comprises analysis of curriculum vitae and interviews with the partners responsible for recruitment within the firm and with the coordinators of the practice area that is recruiting a lawyer. Often there is also an oral and written exam in English.

Trainees

We have a strong tradition of providing high quality internships to trainee lawyers. The trainee is required to demonstrate a sense of responsibility, the ability to work as part of a team and proficiency in foreign languages.  The firm is looking for trainees that demonstrate technical skills as well as synergy with the firm’s culture and values.
The annual selection process starts in January each year and encompasses four phases:

  • Curricular analysis;
  • Interviews with the partners responsible for recruitment;
  • Oral and written exams in English;
  • Final interview.

The internship begins in September with training programmes on relevant legal issues and internal procedures. Trainees gain experience in several areas through successive periods of integration in different groups, always under the supervision of an internship coordinator. Like all the firm’s lawyers, trainees are subject to annual evaluations. At the end of the internship trainees with a positive final evaluation are invited to join the team.

Support Staff

The firm has a substantial support staff in various areas (legal support, IT, accounting and library services, amongst others). The same criteria of professionalism apply in these areas. Key requirements are professional competence in the respective area, a good working knowledge of the English language, information technology skills and overall synergy with the firm’s culture and values.
The selection process encompasses analysis of curriculum vitae and an interview with the Administrative Director, the Human Resources Director and the coordinator of the recruiting sector.
