João Fitas
Principal Associate
João Fitas joined the Firm in 2019. He is a member of the corporate real estate and tourism department.
His practice essentially focuses in advising national and international investors on all types of corporate and real estate matters and transactions, including the structuring of real estate investments, joint ventures, the purchase of real estate assets, sale & leasebacks, leases, as well as advising on the development of real estate projects of all class of assets (retail, residential and tourism).
He has also advised on the negotiation of W&I and title insurance policies.
João is a lecturer in the postgraduate courses at the Law School of the University of Lisbon where he lectures on real estate M&A.
Previously he worked as associate at VdA - Vieira de Almeida and at DLA Piper.
