Maria Luísa Cyrne

Maria Luísa Cyrne joined Morais Leitão in 2018. She is a member of the firm’s corporate and M&A and intellectual property teams.

Her practice is mainly focused on technology, media, telecommunications, consumer and intellectual property.

She actively intervenes in the field of intellectual property rights (particularly, licensing and transfer rights), including software product.

She has also advised clients on matters related to personal data and privacy protection and defined strategies considering the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Luisa also worked in non-profit partnerships dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and developing policies on the Internet’s unique identifiers and internet governance, as well associations to promote Digital Economy and developing e-commerce projects.

Since 2019, Maria Luísa Cyrne has been listed as an arbitrator of ARBITRARE - Arbitration Center for Industrial Property, Domain Names, Firms and Denominations.
