Inês Pinto Leite joined Morais Leitão in 2008. She’s a member of the tax and the sport and entertainment teams.
Her practice is focused on domestic and international tax consulting as well as in tax dispute resolution.
She participates frequently in corporate restructuring operations, mergers and acquisitions, providing advice in subjects related to double taxation treaties, VAT and Corporate Income Tax. Inês also has experience in tax diagnostics and implementing corporate structures. She has advised several inheritance and succession tax plans in both the national and international context. In 2013, Inês provided technical consultancy to the Corporate Income Tax Reform Committee.
On the academic circuit, she’s a lecturer at the Católica School of Law – Oporto and Lisbon –, teaching, among others, tax law and succession tax planning. She has been a tutor of several master theses on tax law and an author and co-author of articles on the mentioned subjects.
