Maria Quintela

Maria Quintela joined the firm in 1995 and became a non-equity partner in 2014. She is a member of the tax team.

Maria Quintela has been active assisting various major acquisitions of companies and in the restructuring of international groups with respect to all attendant tax issues, notably regarding real estate, industrial and financial sector tax issues. She advises on reorganisations and provides consultancy assistance on specific transactions, including questions related to transfer pricing, application of Double Taxation Agreements and CFC rules.

Her expertise includes income tax, VAT, property transfer tax, excise duties and stamp tax.

Maria Quintela’s professional activity also involves representing national and international clients in tax litigation matters in both administrative proceedings and in court.
