Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva in cooperation with AIP-CCI - Portuguese Industrial Association/Chamber of Commerce and Industry promotes a workshop on the “New labour rules” that takes place on 10 July between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the AIP-CCI headquarters in Lisbon.
The reform of the labour law has been a current topic for the past months. The new rules are days away from entering into force and will affect several aspects of the employment relationship. On one hand it contributes to solve the productivity and flexibility issues affecting the labour market, and on the other hand it raises uncertainty and risk.
It is vital to understand the content and meaning of the legal alterations in order to make the necessary and appropriate changes regarding the managing of a company.
The members of the labour and social security team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva will approach several legal changes. Then follows an extensive Q&A debate.
Pedro Pardal Goulão will be responsible for the opening remarks and the themes “Dismissal” and “Compensation due to the termination of the work contract”; Isabel Valente Dias will approach “Administrative Obligations”; Paula Ribeiro Farinha will present the theme “Fixed-term work contract” and Maria João da Luz will speak about the “Duration of work”.
