Vasco Xavier Mesquita joined the firm in 2007. He is currently a member of the administrative and public procurement and urban planning and environment teams.
Until 2010, Vasco has worked with the european law and competition team and with the tax team.
Vasco concentrates his activity in several areas of public law. In particular, he regularly assists clients in the execution of major public and private works. He also assists clients in public procurement matters, advising both awarding entities and tenderers in the several phases of the procurement procedures, as well as on the performance of public contracts. In addition, he acts as legal counsel for several public and private entities before the administrative courts.
He also collaborates with the Africa Team - an internal structure that guarantees, on a permanent basis, and in close cooperation with the member firms of the MLGTS Legal Circle, personalised day-to-day assistance to clients on matters that involve or are related to the jurisdictions of the African Portuguese speaking countries – in which he regularly assists clients in the areas of administrative and public procurement law.
