Carlos Botelho Moniz and Margarida Rosado da Fonseca take part in the "XXIV FIDE Congress"

Carlos Botelho Moniz and Margarida Rosado da Fonseca, respectively partner and senior lawyer of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva,  participated in the FIDE congress as the board of directors of the National Association of European Law (APDE). Carlos Botelho Moniz is Vice-President and Margarida Rosado da Fonseca is Secretary General of APDE.

The "XXIV FIDE Congress", under the high patronage of his Royal Highness Prince D. Felipe de Borbón of Asturias ,  took place in Madrid, Spain, between the 3rd and 6th of November,2010.
FIDE – International Federation for European Law is the mother-organization that includes all the national associations of European law of the Member States of the European Union (APDE in Portugal ).
Every two years FIDE organizes a congress to discuss issues of European and competition law that are particularly pressing. Representatives of the Member States, academics and lawyers participate in the congress.
A compilation of the reports has already been published and made available to the public. The themes debated during this year's congress were: (i) The role of National Parliaments in the European Union, (ii) The judicial application of Competition Law; e (iii) Public capital and private capital in the internal market.
