Miguel Galvão Teles and Pedro Gonçalves, PostGraduate lecturers at the XIV Postgraduate Course in Securities Law

Miguel Galvão Teles and Pedro Gonçalves are a part of the faculty in the XIV Postgraduate Course in Securities Law (2009/2010), organized by the University of Lisbon Law School Securities Institute. They address, respectively, "In the razor wire: Short Selling, stabilization, promotion and market manipulation" and "Global and sovereignty: the need for a new paradigm of regulation and supervision".

Miguel Galvão Teles, partner at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva and coordinator of the public and international law department, has wide experience in litigation in litigation matters, including appearances before the International Court of Justice and International Arbitral Tribunals. He also has wide experience in financial operations and in a significant number of the larger and more complex projects in Portugal and abroad. Mr. Galvão Teles is a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, The Hague and the ICC – International Court of Arbitration.

 Pedro Gonçalves is a Lecturer at the Coimbra University Law School. Before joining the firm he worked as a consultant, mainly in the preparation of studies and legal opinions in the areas of the general administrative law, public contracting and public regulation, especially in the telecommunications’ sector.
