João Benazra Faria

João Benazra Faria joined Morais Leitão in 2019. He is a member of the firm’s administrative and public law and urban planning and environment teams.
His practice is focused on public law, particularly urban planning and land development and formation and performance of concession, procurement and public works contracts related with large infrastructures. João has been involved extensively in complex litigation matters in the administrative courts.
João also works with the Asia Team – an internal structure of the firm that provides permanent assistance to clients present in Asian countries – assisting in the areas mentioned above.
Education
Law degree (Católica Lisbon School of Law, 2002). Specialization degree in Tax (Overgest, ISCTE, 2005). Master’s degree in Business Administration, Major in Finance (MBA) (Faculty of Administration and Leadership, University of Saint Joseph, Macau, 2008-2013). Attendance of Postgraduate Studies in Urban Planning (ICJP, University of Lisbon School of Law, 2020).
