Colloquium "Individual Restrictive Trade Practices"

Joaquim Vieira Peres, partner at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, will speak at the Colloquium "Individual Restrictive Trade Practices", promoted by the International Chamber of Commerce Portugal (ICC Portugal). The Colloquium takes place on June 4 at ICC Portugal’s headquarters in Lisbon.

Joaquim Vieira Peres will speak about some case studies related to the subject in discussion.

The theme of restrictive trade practices, whether the classic prohibitions regarding selling below cost, or acts against unfair trading practices, is of the best economic interest for Portugal, enterprises, organisations, authorities of law enforcement, and also indirectly, consumers.

Taking that into account, the ICC Portugal Competition Commission has gathered a board of diversified specialists to study and debate the subject with all those who are confronted by this regime application. ASAE, APED CIP, FIPA and Jerónimo Martins will take part in this roundtable, discussing the challenges of this new law application concerning companies and authorities.
