Adriana Brás is taking part in a conference dedicated to the history of the criminal jury in Portugal, which is being held at CIES - Iscte.

Organised under the CRMIJUR project and coordinated by researcher Emmanuel Berger, the event brings together Portuguese and international specialists to discuss the theme 'O Júri Criminal em Portugal: História de uma Instituição Judicial e Política Esquecida, 1822–1927' (The Criminal Jury in Portugal: History of a Forgotten Judicial and Political Institution, 1822–1927).

Our principal associate will join the roundtable scheduled for 4:45 pm, which will draw together contributions presented throughout the day, spanning archival and legal-historical perspectives to socio-historical and contemporary analyses.
