Carina Branco speaks at the Digital Infrastructures Congress: Regulation and Power

Carina Branco is taking part in the Digital Infrastructures Congress: Regulation and Power, taking place in Lisbon on 27 and 28 October and focusing on the legal framework governing digital infrastructures and the power dynamics associated with them.

Our partner will join the panel “Trust Infrastructure: Digital Identity, Certification and Content Provenance”, alongside Isa Meireles and Marta Salgado Areias, moderated by Mafalda Brito Fernandes, on 28 October.

The programme brings together different legal and regulatory perspectives on digital infrastructures, covering topics ranging from platforms and cloud services to data centres, submarine cables, telecommunications networks, satellites, artificial intelligence, digital identity, digital advertising, cybersecurity and the resilience of critical infrastructures.

The Congress offers an integrated perspective on these issues, examining the role of law in relation to infrastructures that are increasingly central to the functioning of economies and societies.
