Claudia Santos Cruz, a partner in the Lusophone Africa practice team at Morais Leitão, will be a speaker at the GLAWBUS Annual Congress 2025, taking place on 29–30 May in Lisbon. This international event — organised by GLAWBUS, a global association connecting lawyers, consultants and entrepreneurs — will focus on “Pioneering the Future: New Frontiers of Economic Regulation, Ethics & Innovation.”
Claudia will join the panel "Regulating the Market: Compliance vs Competition", where she will address the topic “Compliance in Trade with Emerging Economies: A Competitive Edge or Hurdle?” Her presentation will explore the legal and strategic challenges and opportunities that compliance requirements pose for companies operating in emerging markets.
Andreia Guerreiro, a partner in Morais Leitão's litigation team, and Francisco Campos Braz, also from the firm’s Lusophone Africa practice team, will also participate in the event.
