Claudia Santos Cruz speaks at the IBA conference ESG: the Brussels Effect at a crossroads

Claudia Santos Cruz, partner at Morais Leitão, Vice-Chair of the IBA African Regional Forum and Officer of the IBA Oil & Gas Committee, will moderate the session "Bridging the ESG divide: harmonising Global North standards with Global South realities", taking place on 19 June 2025.

In this session, Claudia Santos Cruz will moderate a discussion between both private practice and in-house counsel focused on the application of Global North-centric ESG standards to the Global South exploring these challenges through real life examples and suggesting practical strategies for bridging this divide.

The IBA conference is taking place from 18 to 20 June 2025 in Paris.
