"Emerging Risks – the responsability of managers" is the topic of the conference organized by the newspaper OJE together with Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, Chartis and MDS. The conference will be an opportunity to debate the main concerns regarding the need to safeguard the responsibility of managers. Particular emphasis will be on the responsibility assumed in the context of the new Commercial Companies Code and the responsibility arising from the new environmental directive.
Partner João Pereira Reis, a member of the urban planning and environment team will speak about the"Ttransposition of the directive on environmental responsibility". Margarida Lima Rego, member of the insurance, reinsurance and pension funds team, will speak on the "Civil responsibility of managers and directors".
The conference will take place on May 20 at 9 a.m. at the João Morais Leitão Auditorium.
