David Silva Ramalho appointed by the Council of Europe to teach a course on cybercrime
David Silva Ramalho, managing associate of the criminal, regulatory offences and compliance practice area, has been appointed by the Council of Europe as an expert to teach the Advanced Course on Cybercrime and Digital Evidence for Judges in Jordan.
The course will take place between 19 and 22 May at the Jordan National Institute in Amman, will be taught by two experts, and will include teaching components on the Budapest Convention and its Additional Protocols, cryptocurrencies, the challenges of new technologies to criminal investigation, trial preparation for cases involving digital evidence, and a mock trial.
The aim of the course is to equip Jordanian judges with the necessary knowledge for investigating, analysing and adjudicating cybercrime or cases involving digital evidence.
