On 17 July, David Silva Ramalho will be lecturing on the Postgraduate Course in Sports Law at the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Law, which is promoted by the IURIS Institute. His talk is on the increasingly relevant topic of 'Sport and Criminal Law', given the complexity and visibility of current sporting phenomena.
Designed to respond to the legal challenges facing the sports sector in Portugal, Angola and other international contexts, this postgraduate programme includes the participation of various experts in the field. Topics covered include the structure and regulation of sports entities, sponsorship contracts, image rights and athlete transfers, and the mediation and arbitration of sports disputes, as well as legal issues related to anti-doping and sports integrity.
