I International Arbitration Meeting of Coimbra

António Pinto Leite, promotes the I International Arbitration Meeting of Coimbra that takes place on October 20, 21 and 22 at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra and at Quinta das Lágrimas in Coimbra.

The meeting organised with José Miguel Júdice, partner of PLMJ, and under the coordination, among others, of Miguel de Almada and Filipe Vaz Pinto, partner and associate respectively  at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silvais, is going to bring together Brazilian specialists, lawyers, academics and representatives of arbitration institutes and judicial power.

António Pinto Leite, in statements to the newspaper Expresso, revealed that "Having an international law will convert Lisbon into the the seat of arbitration for countries like Angola or Mozambique. We may create a basis for a service industry."

António Sampaio Caramelo, a member of the litigation and arbitration team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva, is one of the invited speakers and will address the theme "Arbitrability of disputes on the validity of corporate resolutions."
