Joana Galvão Teles, partner at Morais Leitão, will take part on 24 September in the series “Dialogues on Administrative Arbitration: Current Developments and Future Perspectives”, organised by PT-VYAP (Portuguese Very Young Arbitration Practitioners), the Administrative Arbitration Centre and NOVA School of Law.
Our partner will participate in the session “A Critical Approach to Administrative Arbitration”, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. at NOVA School of Law and will also feature Raquel Galvão Silva, Bartolomeu Noronha and Diogo Duarte Campos, with Luís Heleno Terrinha as moderator.
The discussion will address topics such as administrative arbitration as a tool for public management, its advantages, risks and limitations, as well as the relationship between administrative arbitration and effective judicial protection, particularly in terms of access, transparency and legitimacy.
Held over four sessions on 22, 24 and 29 September and 1 October, the series aims to create a forum for dialogue among practitioners, academics and students on the main challenges and trends in administrative arbitration. Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration.
