Joana Galvão Teles participates in the XII Luso-Brazilian Arbitration Conference

Joana Galvão Teles, partner at Morais Leitão and member of the Board of the Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC), will take part in the opening panel of the XII Luso-Brazilian Arbitration Conference, to be held on 14 October 2025 at the Grand Hall of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Her participation will be in Panel 1, dedicated to the topic “Limitations on the types and amounts of evidence as a means of promoting efficiency in arbitration and preventing dilatory tactics.” The panel will also feature Mariana Conti Craveiro, partner at ContiCraveiro and Vice-President of the IDiP – Institute of Private Law (Brazil), and Carolina Pitta e Cunha, tribunal secretary and arbitrator (Portugal), and will be moderated by Pedro Metello de Nápoles, also a member of the Board of the Commercial Arbitration Centre (Portugal).

The session, jointly organised by the Commercial Arbitration Centre and CAM-CCBC – Centre for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce, with the institutional support of Arbitration Channel, will bring together Portuguese and Brazilian experts to discuss the current challenges of evidence in arbitration.
