On 22 November, João Matos Viana took part in the 2nd International Congress of APAR – the Portuguese Association for Prisoner Support, where he delivered a presentation on the right of inmates to be assisted by a lawyer, both in penitentiary matters and in matters outside the penitentiary context.
The congress took place from 21 to 23 November at the Temple of Poetry in Oeiras.
