Magda Viçoso takes part in conference on competitiveness, innovation and regulation in Europe

Magda Viçoso, partner at Morais Leitão, will take part in the conference “Competitiveness, Innovation and Regulation in Europe”, organised by the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance (IPCG), which will take place on 27 October at the CCB Congress Centre in Lisbon.

Magda Viçoso will join the panel “Board Empowerment in a More Competitive International Context”, focused on the skills that boards need to strengthen in order to respond to an increasingly demanding international environment.

The session will also feature Carolina Almeida Cruz, Co-Founder and CEO of C-MORE, Cristina Casalinho, Executive Board Member of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Vera Ferreira de Lima, Partner at Linklaters.

Throughout the conference, participants will discuss topics related to European competitiveness, technological innovation and the challenges posed by regulation.

Morais Leitão is one of the conference partners in an initiative aimed at encouraging discussion on the role of governance in the competitiveness of companies and the European economy.
