Marisa Larguinho participates in the Portuguese Real Estate Investment Vehicles & Financing conference

Marisa Larguinho, partner at Morais Leitão, participated as moderator in the panel discussion “Are Portuguese Real Estate Vehicles innovating with new regulations in place?”, part of the Portuguese Real Estate Investment Vehicles & Financing conference, held this Friday, 23 May, at the Pestana Palace Hotel in Lisbon.

The event, supported institutionally by Morais Leitão, brought together industry experts, decision-makers and investors to discuss the functioning of different real estate investment vehicles and explore strategies to enhance profitability. Key topics included the impact of economic growth, the evolution of interest rates, the role of capital markets and the sector’s capacity for innovation.

The panel moderated by Marisa Larguinho focused on how Portuguese real estate asset managers are adopting (or replicating) trends seen in other European jurisdictions, and reflected on the role regulation has played in the growing importance of investment funds and private equity in this space.
