Congratulations are in order for Morais Leitão Legal Circle: the shortlist for the African Legal Awards 2026, promoted by Law.com International, has recently been announced, and the network has secured a total of five nominations.
Morais Leitão is nominated for the "African Network/Alliance of the Year" award, in recognition of the strength and reputation of the international Morais Leitão Legal Circle network.
Adding to this good news, ALC Advogados, the network's exclusive partner in Angola, has been nominated in the categories "African Law Firm of the Year – Southern Africa" and "Women Leaders in Law – Private Practice", the latter through Catarina Levy Osório, Managing Partner of ALC.
MDR Advogados, the network's exclusive partner in Mozambique, is also celebrating, with nominations in the categories "TMT Team of the Year" and "ESG Initiative of the Year".
A total of five nominations that reflect the excellent work carried out by Morais Leitão Legal Circle across the different African jurisdictions where it has a presence.
The African Legal Awards annually recognise the African legal elite. The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, 4th September, at The Wanderers Club, Johannesburg.
