Morais Leitão has joined the Portuguese Energy Association (APE) as a corporate member, strengthening its strategic positioning in a sector undergoing profound transformation and taking on an active role in addressing and monitoring the challenges of the energy and digital transition in Portugal.
APE is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation of public utility, with a long-standing tradition in the energy sector. As the national committee of the World Energy Council, it represents Portugal within an international network dedicated to analysing and debating the key global energy trends. Its activity spans the entire value chain, promoting the sector’s contribution to economic development and to improving quality of life.
APE’s work includes conducting studies, organising conferences, meetings and seminars, as well as developing training initiatives and participating in institutional projects at both national and international levels. The association brings together entities from across the energy sector — from producers and distributors to research centres, consultancies and public bodies — fostering an integrated and multidisciplinary approach.
Through this membership, Morais Leitão reinforces its connection to the energy sector, strengthening its ability to closely monitor regulatory, technological and market developments, and to contribute to an informed and high-quality debate on the challenges of the energy transition.
At Morais Leitão, we work alongside the forefront of the energy sector to help build a more prosperous, sustainable and resilient future. The energy transition requires a holistic vision, continuous investment and a legal framework that fosters trust and keeps pace with innovation.
