Morais Leitão participates in the Postgraduate Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Justice

With the support of Morais Leitão, the Postgraduate Programme in Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Justice invites reflection on the challenges that artificial intelligence poses to Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and the administration of justice. The programme runs from 20 October 2026 to 4 February 2027.

Across a series of sessions, the postgraduate programme will bring artificial intelligence into dialogue with practical issues in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, ranging from judicial decision-making and criminal investigations to digital evidence, deepfakes and criminal liability associated with AI systems.

Morais Leitão will also be represented among the speakers by David Silva Ramalho, Nuno Igreja Matos and Inês Costa Bastos, who will take part, on 19 January 2027, in the session dedicated to “Seizure of crypto-assets in criminal proceedings”, as part of the module “AI in Criminal Investigations”.
