Morais Leitão provides training to members of the Lisbon Regional Council of the Bar Association.

On 22 July, the Lisbon Regional Council of the Bar Association held a training session dedicated to the topic of 'Searches and Seizures in Law Offices'. The session aimed to reinforce the commitment to the continuous and specialised training of its representatives, and was attended by members of the Regional Council and the Presidents of the Delegations of the territorial area covered.

 

Morais Leitão was represented by Rui Patrício, David Silva Ramalho and Tiago Coelho Magalhães from the firm's Criminal, Regulatory Offences and Compliance team, who led the session as trainers. Recognised for their experience in advising on and intervening in cases involving house searches and proceedings in areas protected by professional secrecy, our lawyers presented a rigorous and practical legal approach to the challenges facing the legal profession in this sensitive area.

 

The session was opened by Telmo Guerreiro Semião, President of the Lisbon Regional Council, and formed part of a training strategy aimed at all those responsible for institutional positions within the Bar Association. This strategy promotes technical updating and the defence of the profession's essential guarantees.
