Morais Leitão has been shortlisted for “Lusophone Africa International Law Firm”, while its international network, Morais Leitão Legal Circle, has been included in the shortlist for “African Legal Network of the Year”.
The exclusive members of the Morais Leitão Legal Circle in African markets have also once again been recognised. ALC Advogados, in Angola, and MDR Advogados, in Mozambique, have been shortlisted for “National Law Firm of the Year” in their respective jurisdictions.
In addition to these institutional nominations, ALC Advogados and Morais Leitão have also been shortlisted for “Deal of the Year – Domestic” for their work on the Banco Fomento Angola IPO, one of the most significant transactions in the Angolan market.
In Mozambique, MDR Advogados has been shortlisted for “Deal of the Year – M&A” in connection with the Canal+ / MultiChoice transaction, reinforcing its involvement in highly complex transactions in the media and telecommunications sector.
Recognition also extends to the individual level, with Catarina Levy Osório, partner at ALC Advogados, shortlisted for “Lawyer of the Year – Angola”, a distinction highlighting her professional track record and contribution to the development of the Angolan legal sector.
The winners of the IFLR Africa Awards 2026 will be announced on 17 March.
