Morais Leitão will take part in the 4th Competition Law Congress in Portugal, organised by ICC Portugal, which will be held on 18 November 2025 in Lisbon. The firm supports this initiative as an event sponsor, bringing together academics, regulators, lawyers, and representatives from various sectors to discuss the main trends and challenges in competition law.
Partner Eduardo Maia Cadete will act as moderator of the opening session, “International Trade, Tariffs and Competition”, featuring speakers from the Portuguese Competition Authority, APIFARMA, and ACIBEV. The session will address the impact of global trade policies and tariff restrictions on competition and market functioning.
The congress will also include several panels dedicated to topics such as digital regulation, merger control, and private enforcement of competition law, with contributions from national and international experts.
