Morais Leitão supports the campaign Banco Alimentar/NHR Compassion Association

NHR Compassion is an association of Non-Habitual Residents in Portugal which aims to help those most in need in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

NHR was founded by the British citizen Michael Naylor, resident in Portugal, impelled to help those who have fewer resources.

With regard to food needs, in the last three weeks a further 12,000 families (about 40,000 people) have requested Banco Alimentar aid, in addition to the 400,000 people who already benefit from its current support. The Banco Alimentar campaign, which regularly takes place in May, has been cancelled, leaving a gap in the stocks of 21 units of the Banco Alimentar in Portugal, Madeira and the Azores.

As he witnessed the dark scenario of those who depend on Banco Alimentar aid, Michael Naylor, on behalf of NHR Compassion, channelled their funds to the Portuguese Federation of Banco Alimentar.

Morais Leitão is proud to support this iniciative, through the Portuguese Federation, and be a part of this unique project.
