Vera Esteves Cardoso and João Diogo Barbosa teach on the Postgraduate Course in Corporate Finance

Vera Esteves Cardoso, counsel, and João Diogo Barbosa, associate, both members of Morais Leitão’s Banking and Finance team, are part of the faculty of the 13th edition of the Postgraduate Course in Corporate Finance – Corporate Finance Law, promoted by the Private Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. The course runs from 1 October 2026 to 26 January 2027, in an online format.

On 21 January, Vera Esteves Cardoso and João Diogo Barbosa will teach the session “Artificial intelligence in corporate finance: algorithmic underwriting, credit scoring and automation”, as part of the module “Artificial Intelligence, Fintech and Innovation in Financing”.

The Postgraduate Course covers different areas of corporate finance, from traditional financing and equity and debt financing to corporate restructurings and new applications of artificial intelligence in financing.
