Rute Santos Bessa
Junior Associate
Rute Santos Bessa joined the Firm in September 2024. She is a member of the litigation and arbitration department.
Previously, she attended short-term internships, two of them at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados where she was part of the same team (in 2022 and 2023) and one at Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão, in the Porto’s office.
More recently, she completed a curricular internship that lasted six months in Family and Children Court in Lisbon.
Education
Law Degree (University of Porto School of Law, 2022). Master’s degree in Forensic Law and Arbitration (NOVA School of Law, 2024). Conflict Mediator Training Course (2023). Currently attending a Postgraduate Program in Children's Law, Family Law, and Succession Law (Private Law Research Center, Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon).
