Fernanda Matoso, partner and coordinator of the life sciences health team of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva (MLGTS), is present at the symposium "Re-Thinking Pharma 2014-2024", that takes place on May 15 and 16 at the Hotel Aqualuz in Trojan.
"Re-Thinking Pharma 2014-2024" is an annual meeting addressed to the professionals of the pharmaceutical industry in Portugal, with the purpose of discussing trends, threats and opportunities in Portugal at such a critical time for the economy and consequently for the pharmaceutical sector.
Fernanda Matoso participates on the panel dedicated to the subject "Competitive Advantage and key success factors for the pharmaceutical industry" and analyses the role of law firms in the development of the pharmaceutical sector in Portugal.
On this panel also participate Thebar Miranda (Pharma Portugal), José Redondo (Bial), and Pedro Ferraz da Costa (Iberfar) who will analyse questions related to the internationalization and bet on I&D.
The opening session of the "Re-Thinking Pharma 2014-2024" will be chaired by his Excellency the Portuguese Secretary of State of Health, Manuel Teixeira. At the close of proceedings there will be a debate on the subject: "Pharmaceutical industry and Partners: A shared future" in which participate at a more meaningful level the main players of the pharmaceutical market in Portugal.
Fernanda Matoso acts mainly in the health sector, as a life sciences lawyer, namely advising several pharmaceutical companies and coordinating the firm’s team involved in the legal assistance to such companies in the pharmaceutical sector, in areas such as regulation (prices and reimbursement regulation, legal framework for medicine, marketing authorization procedures, promotion activities, clinical trials), commercial policies, litigation and arbitration.
