Carlos Coelho reflects on Artificial Intelligence in education

On April 5 and 6, the conference "Inquietar - o cerne da educação", promoted by the Municipality of Amarante, will take place.

Carlos Coelho, Director of Innovation and Knowledge at Morais Leitão, will be part of the panel scheduled for the second day of the event. The debate "Artificial Intelligence: transformation and adaptation" will also feature Rita Paulo Ribeiro (Senior Researcher at the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory of the Institute of Systems Engineering and Computing, Technology and Science) and Bernardo Caldas (Data and Artificial Intelligence specialist).

The main aim of the initiative will be to promote a reflection on the implications of artificial intelligence in teaching. Topics such as the potential impacts of AI on the relationship between teachers and students, the integration of Artificial Intelligence into the educational process and the ethical and legal challenges arising from the use of this resource in teaching will be addressed.
