Catarina Brito Ferreira, partner at Morais Leitão, is taking part today, 13 April, in the opening session of the executive course “The Evolution of Energy Law: renewables, energy efficiency and climate”, promoted by NOVA School of Law, which runs until 9 June.
Our lawyer joins the inaugural panel discussion on “Introduction and Overview of the Evolution of Energy Law”, which brings together sector experts to debate key European legislative developments and the role of regulation in accelerating the energy transition.
The opening session marks the start of the course, which provides a broad reflection on the legal challenges associated with the energy transition, in a context shaped by decarbonisation targets and the ongoing evolution of the European regulatory framework.
Over the coming weeks, the programme includes topics such as permitting, electricity markets, energy efficiency, hydrogen, biomethane, electric mobility and decarbonisation mechanisms, reflecting the growing complexity of Energy Law.
