Francisco Mendes da Silva speaks at the 2026 Lawyers' Day Commemorative Plenary Session

Francisco Mendes da Silva, co-coordinator of Morais Leitão's Tax department, will speak at the Commemorative Plenary Session of Lawyers' Day, taking place on 18 May 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Teatro Municipal de Matosinhos.

The session is part of the 2026 Lawyers' Day celebrations, organised by the Portuguese Bar Association between 17 and 19 May, this year held in the municipality of Matosinhos. The programme combines institutional reflection and legal debate with networking events and the exploration of the region's cultural heritage.

On 18 May, Francisco Mendes da Silva's appearance follows a guided tour of Matosinhos and the conference "What if it happened again?". The celebrations conclude on 19 May — the feast day of Saint Ivo, patron saint of lawyers — with a memorial mass, a fraternal lunch, and a closing plenary session at Exponor Matosinhos, where the Bar Association's Honour Medals and 50 Years of Practice Medals will be awarded.
